Salt's Menu is the simplest one I've ever seen and it's good for the customers as it makes them easier to decide what to eat. Nothing fancy and straight to the point. That simple. The food is affordable compared of course to restaurants who are serving steak as their prime offering.
To start our food journey, we enjoyed ourselves with their version of Ceasar Salad.
Best seller at Salt is their T-bone steak which comes with potato salad side dish, rice and a sauce of your choice (classic gravy, pepper cram or barbecue).
As I digged in, ingredients used by the chef are from Batangas, which I am from, that makes this restaurant worth a visit as it collaborates with the local suppliers. But having said that, I am giving you the most objective review I can.
Erik, my friend, ordered Grilled Tuna which is paired with atsara and vinegar. It's very tasteful and fresh.
To cap of the dining experience, we ended up sweetening our palate with Chocolate Tartufo (amazeballs) and Frozen Brazo de Mercedes. I enjoyed the former more than the latter. SPOILER: There's a surprise waiting for you as you dig in with the CHOCOLATE TARTUFO.
