The 3rd National Digital Arts Awards #DigitalPinoyAko #NDAA2015

I was fortunate enough to witness another milestone in the field of Digital Arts as I attend the 3rd National Digital Arts Awards last January 15, 2016 at Newport Perfoming Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila in cooperation with Dems Angeles of DemsAngeles.com, Donna Cristobal of Honey's Haven and Globaltronics Inc.

National Digital Arts Awards (NDAA) is an award giving body created by Globaltronics Incorporated which aims to highlight and recognize the skills and talents of young digital artists in the Philippines. NDAA has two categories namely Print and Motion Graphics. #DigitalPinoyAko is the main theme for NDAA 2015 which allows participants to have their own interpretation of the Philippines as a country that continues to rise with the help of technology. Entries from different parts of the Philippines show an integration of technology and rich visual media as integral to nation building, instilling nationalism in every Filipino and how moving forward, the young people can influence culture using positive values towards affirmative change.

After the recognition of winners, the event was followed by a concert. Kean Cipriano of Callalily and Eunice Jorge of GraceNote opened the night with songs from their latest album #HappyTogether. Up Dharma Down performed next with their original songs. Listening to OO and Tadhana combo will always be an epic experience. It's my first time to watch UDD performed live and it was surreal. UDD also performed their rendition of the song Foolish Heart. While UDD performs, an awesome digital art flashes on the beautifully crafted stage. Parokya ni Edgar closes the night with an energetic jamming performance. A Team PH also entertained us with 3 different dance routines. It just goes to show how Filipinos are extremely talented in any field of arts.

Alden Richards, the newest Boardwalk YES Ambassador, also graced the event. He performed his signature song, God Gave Me You, which made the audience go gaga. Boardwalk continues to innovate their organization by introducing the Young Empowered Sociopreneurs (YES) Project. You can check share.ph for more information.

I am looking forward for NDAA 2016 as more emerging digital artists come to life. Cheers to Filipino talent and ingenuity. Until next NDAA Awarding Concert!

Great night with Dems and Donna.
