POV: Hardys: It Gets Better with Time

Any relationship gets better with time. I am very happy to have these friends since high school. Even though we parted ways after high we graduated, we managed to stay connected and continue the friend ship we've established. Through ups and downs, we remain a good friend to each other. Just like our friendship which gets better with time, Hardys wine also gets better over time.

Wine did not have that much importance in Asia that it always enjoyed in the Western world. It is true that the climate in most of Asia does not encourage wine production or consumption but now is the time to introduce and make it a practice as Hardys is making its wave in the Asian market.

Hardys is a wine company which was established in 1853 which gives them a 160 years of wine making experience. Thomas Hardy, the founder, was the first Chief Winemaker until 1890, when he handed responsibility to his nephew Dr. Fred Stoward. Ever since it has been the Chief Winemaker's responsibility to continue Thomas’ vision of creating ‘wines that will be prized in the markets of the world’.

Over the past 160 years they have had 19 different Chief Winemakers pass through our Tintara winery. All of whom have played a vital role in the success of both Hardys and the Australian wine industry.
