MOVIES: Your Guide to MMFF 2012 entries!

December 25, 2012, Christmas, marks the Metro Manila Film festival in the Philippines. During the festival, no foreign films are shown in Philippine theaters in order to showcase locally produced films.

Here are the official 8 entries for this year:

A single mother is forced to reunite with her estranged husband to save her child from a deadly disease.

A family taking a roadtrip breaks down in the middle of nowhere, and gets caught in the middle of a conflict between a small village and a mysterious hunter that lives in the woods.

A Badjao midwife unable to bear children for her husband consents to him taking a second wife. She scours all of Tawi-Tawi looking for a suitable bride.
