#FoodPH - The Belle and Dragon Experience!

A few steps from my office, I found a place that really caught my attention. From afar, it looks like a dungeon with Harry Potter-ish vibe. A little bit intimidating on the outside yet inviting as my curiosity provokes me to try and dine. The Belle and Dragon is located at Carlos Palanca Street, Legaspi Village in Makati. Nearby restaurants are Gringo,  Plantation, Nanbantei Yakitori Bar and Salad Stop.

The Belle and Dragon is known for its coldest and freshest draft beers but little did the neighborhood know that they also serve high quality and affordable meals. Sharing you the food I tried out during my visit.

There are a lot of food right? If you'll ask me what are my favorites, I will share it to you. For the starters, I love Wanton Nachos. I think they're the only pub serving this kind of fusion. I like how they incorporated the magic ingredient "sriracha" into it. I'm sold! Next is the Salt and Pepper Squid. Imagine yourself eating a popcorn but this time, it's squid. It has the perfect balance of  spices which I believe perfect with a pint or bottle of beer. For small plates, I recommend Herb Crusted Salmon. Chef Alec Santos made a great job of putting corn pudding as the base which adds more texture to the tender, perfectly cooked block of salmon.

Double Dragon Burger with supplements of Foie Gras is the BOMB! I will definitely go back for this burger. It's hard to put into words all the awesome mixture of flavours I've tasted on my first bite so I want you to try it for yourself. B&D Cheese Cake for dessert is a must! It's moist, creamy and delectably good. I am not in a good mood during my visit but this dessert just made me extra alive and inspired.

You may come here for the beer but you will definitely stay for the grub!
