#CulturePH - Learn Math With ARTEC Number Scale

When kids start to understand and recognize numbers early on, they can easily learn the more complex concepts of mathematics.  It’s like a stair step of knowledge that must be taught to them in order for them to keep up and eventually learn how to add and subtract. Given that, using interactive objects for kids can be good starters for number recognition, since they are usually stimulated by such things.

For Val Soriano, who has a 3 year old daughter, he bought ARTEC Number Scale kit from Takatack.com and helped him teach his daughter to explore more about numbers and basic mathematics. He totally enjoyed playing with his kid using ARTEC Number Scale because it’s not just entertaining but educational as well. Aside from having fun, Val noticed that his daughter become more motivated and encouraged to count.

Val use the 14 number pieces in particular to experiment with the monkey scale. To introduce his daughter the idea of numbers and understand the concept of balancing it, they us the 30-page activity book which is part of the kit.

ARTEC Number Scale attracts more parents and their children as they see it as a great instrument to set young minds with math literacy and ignites their mathematical thinking.
