It was a bright and sunny day last October 2, 2018 and Sun Life Asset Management division of Sun Life Financial - Philippines conducted a 2019 Market Outlook and Bright Offerings at Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
Part of the session includes Michael D. Enriquez, Chief Investments Officer of Sun Life Financial - Philippines, talking about how to stay on track given the market outlook for the coming year. He identified the current market drivers and how inflation affects the growth of investments in the country.
According to the data gathered, Peso weakness makes PH less attractive both for investors and consumers. But this should not hinder people from investing as this the perfect time to engage and prepare for the future. It's noted that one may experience more negatives before any positive gains.
Sun Life Asset Management then announced through Valerie N. Pama, President of Sun Life Financial - Philippines, that to help Filipinos in their investment plans, they lowered the minimum investment to PhP 1,000 which will entitle an investor a Sun Life Prosperity Fund. Investing made easier and more convenient through Bills Payment program partnering with 3 of the most biggest banks in the country; BDO, BPI and Metrobank.
