VYNE - Hyve's Boutique Restaurant and Freestyle Tapas Bar

Vyne or Vyne Manila is a restaurant located at Eighth Floor, W Global Center, 9th Avenue corner 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig which is known for freestyle tapas and spunky ambiance with graffiti along the walls. Cuisines are Spanish and Greek inspired.

In this blogpost, I will share to you my adventure with Vyne's delectable dishes hosted by Zomato Philippines.

Pork Chasu Bun (Php 295)
From their Tapas Menu, Pork Chasu is a combination of fried quail egg, fried mantao, Nori strips, leeks and sesame mayo. The crispiness of fried mantao complimented the fried quail egg for its 'fragile-ness'. This will literally melt in your mouth.


Thai Scallops (Php 300)
Mix of seared scallops, mango salad in Nuoc Cham dressing, sambal mayo and crispy catfish. Seared scallop sitting on a round of lightly toasted pita is very appealing. For all seafood lovers, this one is perfect for you!


Mini Crab Cakes (Php 380)
Mini crab cakes, apply mayo, avruga caviar and pickled radish on top. This crab dish is very rich in flavor and will definitely answer your crab meat craving.


Prawn and Ravioli Laksa (Php 270)
I am not a fan of spicy food but this one is definitely an exception. The level of spiciness is very much tolerable. Prawn ravioli, tofu, fried onions, bean sprouts and laksa soup tastes so yummy. 


Apple and Bleu Cheese Salad (Php 285)
Well this dish is quite weird because it never crossed my mind that apple, bleu cheese, cranberry, honey yogurt dressing and arugula will compliment each other. That sourness from the apple and sweetness from cranberry and honey yogurt dressing really plays well with my tastebuds adding the special kick of bleu cheese. For the win! 


East Asian Salad (Php 370)
This salad is a combination of mixed greens, asian slaw, kimchi, korean rice cake, salmon floss and sesame dressing. It's very obvious that this dish has Korean roots. 


Ramen Carbonara (Php 350)
This is a great innovation for me. Combining east and west flavors from ramen and carbonara. That smoked pork slices on the top was a surprised. Will not spoil you why because I want you to experience that heavenly sensation when you dine. :) 


Vyne Burger (Php 550)
Vyne Burger is composed of 200 grams of beef pattie, mushroom ragout, foie gras, bleu cheese, apricot jam and brioche bun. After trying this dish, it automatically goes to my list of one of the best beef burgers in the country. That's how great it is. The patty is perfectly cooked and you can really taste the beefy goodness.

Pan Seared Sole (Php 420)
This dish is artfully done. Pan seared sole fish, parsley emulsion, saffron risotto, sweet corn puree and roasted vegetables are presented very well, highlighting each ingredients on the plate.



US Angus Ribeye Steak (Php 2,500)
The star of the night, the astounding 600g prime rib steak with horseradish gremolata, beef jus and fried brussels sprouts served with 4 special sauces.

Lemon Cheesecake (Citrus and Basil) (Php 360)
A course meal will definitely not be complete without dessert. Lemon New York Cheesecake, lemon custard, basil, chopped pistachio and meringue caps off the night. Every bite of it is truly a happy experience. What I love about this cheesecake is that it has the balance flavor of cream cheese and lemon not overpowering each one. The sweetness is perfect too!

After a roller coaster ride of gastronomical treats, Vyne really offers great fusion of ingredients and mouthwatering dishes. I am literally speechless right after indulging myself with Vyne's 11 course meal. It's truly an AWESOME experience.  Thank you to Chef Jerome Orpiano, Elaine of Zomato Philippines, Brian Macasa and Lamy Rio Oli for the experience.  I will definitely go back to Vyne with my friends.
