#FitPH - SAMSUNG Partners With Yoga+ For Its 6th Leg Of PASS10N LAB!

Samsung understands that for this generation of go-getters, being surrounded by people who share their thirst for life is important. That’s why the tech giant launched PASS10N Lab, a series of workshops tailored for individuals interested in entrepreneurship, photography, videography, fitness, and gaming. For its sixth session, those part of the online community, Samsung Members, got to slow down with host, and sports and yoga enthusiast Boom Gonzalez in a relaxing session.

Samsung continues PASS10N Lab with its partnership with Yoga+. As one of Manila’s most popular studios, it advocates for holistic wellness that integrates the body, mind, and spirit to create positive changes within the participants. It taps into the routine’s many benefits, such as decreasing tension and anxiety, and increasing muscle strength, endurance, flexibility, and cardiovascular health.

Today’s generation of Filipinos balances multiple things at once, anchored by a strong desire to shine at work and pursue many passion projects. This drive for excellence may lead to a possible burnout, which makes yoga the perfect workout for today’s trailblazers.

“I’m a health buff and I like to vary my workouts so I can target different muscle groups. One of my go-to routines is yoga, which calms me after a hectic week at work. At the same time, it’s a whole-body workout,” said Gonzalez.

The next generation Samsung Galaxy S10 is the ideal smartphone for the yoga enthusiast such as Gonzalez.

As a sports buff regularly taking part in activities such as basketball, volleyball, running, and circuit training, the TV sportscaster recommends yoga as an added form of exercise because of its fitness and calming benefits. While it can be done in the comfort of one’s home, going to a studio with other yogis can help pass the motivation.

Much like how mantras are shared through Yoga classes, the Galaxy S10 can share battery life with the Wireless Powershare, a feature that can charge other smartphones and compatible wearables, such as the Samsung Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watch Active, by simply placing them on top of the Galaxy S10. The Galaxy ecosystem that connects Samsung devices lets Gonzalez balance everything, from his workouts to his hosting duties.

The smartphone is also powered by its intelligent performance and an 8nm mobile chipset that boosts its CPU and GPU performance. It automatically optimizes battery, CPU, RAM, and even device temperature as needed. This allows Gonzalez to run multiple apps at once without experiencing any lags.

The Samsung Health app contains mindfulness features that include guided meditations and music to help users relax, focus, and sleep. It measures stress levels and heart rate to find out whether it’s time to hit the yoga mat or practice simple breathing exercises.

At the same time, the app can record health goals, automatically detect workouts, share health-related content, and offer challenges in communities. Food tracking is easier since its Bixby Vision can seamlessly detect the number of calories and other nutritional information just by taking a photo of food.
