As we're looking for a good place to eat, we stumble upon Backyard Baguio. I asked one of the servers if in anyway the place is related to Backyard MNL but he said that it's a different entity. Well, let me share to you what we ordered in one of the newest joint in Baguio City.

KABASA'T LONGGANISA SOUP

I never imagined that longganisa and kalabasa will compliment that well. I love how the saltiness blends in with the sweetness of pureed squash.

TUYONESCA

It's a pasta dish same as how puttanesca is done. They used angel hair pasta and added tuyo for a twist.

MUSHROOM TRUFFLE PASTA

I loved this one. Linguine pasta was used with mushrooms and truffle oil. I just wish that they used organic homegrown mushrooms instead of the canned version.
