#FoodPH - Fresh, Fast, Fun - Wok2Go's Promise As It Opens Its Second Branch

In this day and age, people are looking for healthy dining options. Having a healthy body is always part of the list that needs to be prioritized for people to enjoy life more.

I am glad that Wok2Go finally opens its 2nd branch. Located at Tower 4, Double Dragon Plaza Mall in Pasay City, it promise its customers to have a fresh, fast and fun experience. I got the chance to know the brand when I am still part of Victoria Court Malate Group as this is one of the businesses my big bosses are eager to put up way back 2016.

According to Kim Garcia, part owner of Wok2Go, the whole idea of the brand was to create healthier food for the working crowd. They put a lot of thought into what they want to serve and how they want to serve them. I remember the efforts they made before to perfect the sauces and how they invested their time during the conceptualization of the business.

Wok2Go guarantees fresh ingredients because every wok mix comes with vegetables. Every mixes are cooked in a wok, over high flame, and in a short period of time. The faster the vegetables are cook, the less nutrients goes away from it. They also serve it fast because they know that when someone is at work they are only given one hour to take meals. The fun part comes in customizing the wok mix. You can choose your own sauce, base, vegetables and protein.

Trying out Wok2Go is always an adventure. One will be able to travel through their taste buds to Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia and of course, the Philippines through their  signature dishes. These sauces are made by 8 different chefs who are best person for each. It took the m 2 years to perfect the sauces. According to Angie King, their sauces are authentic which means they don’t use any ready-made flavorings since they're particular with quality.

It's not your typical restaurant that menu and food will be served on your table. Ordering when in Wok2Go involves 4 easy steps. First, you choose what size of wok you want, small (280 grams) or large (430 grams). Step 2, you tell us what sauce you want. It is best to choose the sauce before trying to figure out the rest because you have to be able to imagine the taste first. There are eight options, Sinigang, Binagoongan, Adobo, Gochujang, Soy Honey Garlic, Teriyaki, Pepper, and Green Curry. Step 3 is choosing the base, whether it’s white rice, red rice, rice noodles, or mixed vegetables. Every base includes bean sprouts, carrots, onions, cabbage, and snow cabbage. Lastly, you decide on your add-ons. They have a long list, among them chicken, beef, pork, tuna, fried tofu, sesame seeds, egg, kimchi and more.

Believe it or not, you can do more than 3,000 combinations. You can eat here every single day and not get tired of the food.  Every signature sauce can have numerous variations and they have eight awesome sauces!

What makes the opening of their second branch more special is that they are introducing their expanded menu. They have now dimsum side orders (Pork Siomai, Shrimp Siomai and Lumpiang Shanghai), and viands like Pork Sinigang, Pork Binagoongan, Chicken Adobo, Pork Gochujang, Soy Honey Garlic Chicken, Chicken Teriyaki, Pepper Beef Broccoli, and Chicken Curry.  Sorry if now you're craving to have one now!
