#CulturePH - Virbac delivers a topical spot cure for Dogs in the Philippines!
A topical medicine for dogs called Effitix is being introduced to the Philippines by the animal health pharmaceutical company Virbac. It is designed to treat and prevent flea and tick infestations.

Fipronil and permethrin, the main chemicals in Effitix, make it a potent topical treatment that protects your dog from external parasites for up to four weeks.

The medication can be used as a component of a treatment plan for the management of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD), lowering the risk of transmission of diseases spread by infected ticks, such as canine ehrlichiosis and babesiosis, and providing mosquito repellent (anti-feeding) action (Culex pipiens, Aedes aegypti).
Additionally, Effitix comes with a special "drop-stop" pipette technology for quick and hassle-free application that enables you to put the medication exactly where it needs to be on your dogs.
The topical solution comes in three dosing sizes for dogs weighing 4 to 40 kg and puppies older than eight weeks.
