#FitPH - Herbalife Nutrition Virtual Run 2022 Records 15,000 Participants Clocking More Than 1 Million Kilometers, Equivalent to Running Around the World 26 times

Herbalife Nutrition, a leading global nutrition business, released the results of its 2022 Virtual Run today. This yearly event aims to encourage people in Asia Pacific to lead active, healthy lifestyles by getting them moving. Taking place from November 1 to 30, more than 15,000 members of the general public and staff from Herbalife Nutrition in the Asia Pacific region joined forces to race at their own pace, covering a total distance of more than 1,053,000 kilometers, which is the equivalent of running around the globe 26 times.

, which has been held for three years in a row, has racked up 54,000 participants and traveled more than 3,220,000 kilometers, or 80 times around the planet.

“We initiated the Virtual Run in 2020, to help break sedentary lifestyles that became all too commonplace due to the pandemic,” said Stephen Conchie, Regional President of Herbalife Nutrition for Asia Pacific and China. “I’m delighted to see that the momentum has been sustained for the third year running, with new and returning participants joining as individuals or as teams with their friends and families, and covering impressive distances. With the New Year approaching, we encourage people to keep up with their new healthy habits and maintain active lifestyles supported by good nutrition.”

The Get Moving with Good Nutrition campaign, an annual initiative by Herbalife Nutrition to assist Asia Pacific customers embrace healthy active living habits and foster communities that support their healthy living journeys, is highlighted by the Herbalife Nutrition Virtual Run. A brand-new Run App was added to the event this year to provide a more interactive and seamless way to track the progress of the participants.

The Virtual Run helps the Herbalife Nutrition Foundation raise money as well (HNF). Through HNF's Casa Herbalife Nutrition initiative, the Virtual Run raised more than $74,000 this year, bringing the three-year total to approximately $240,000. This money will go toward giving poor children in Asia Pacific access to a healthy diet.
