#TheaterPH - Groundbreaking Play Nekropolis Promises Audience A Never Before Seen Tanghalang Pilipino!

Ten protagonists attempt to survive and make sense of their existence in a metropolis where people slumber to the sound of gunshots and televisions flicker with breaking news one after the other. They try to dull their senses with drugs, sex, or God in the midst of the mayhem. Do we not recognize this city as our own? 

"Nekropolis" is the playwright Guelan Varela-final Luarca's departure from apocalyptic themes, according to the Palanca-winning playwright from New York. Catch this masterwork under the bold, competent direction of Tanghalang Pilipino Actors Company and Charles Yee.

NEKROPOLIS is a product of "Dulambayanihan," a coined term for "dula" (play), and "bayanihan" (the cherished Filipino spirit of communal unity and care). This new play is the result of collaboration and improvisation sessions involving Guelan Varela-Luarca, Charles Yee, Soc Amon, and the Tanghalang Pilipino Actors Company.
