#TechPH - Hands On With Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro

The second version of Samsung's "Pro" series of wireless earbuds seeks to provide both professionals and music enthusiasts with a good all-around acoustic experience. Each earpiece is loaded with technology that enhances call quality and helps suppress background noise for a better listening experience.

Samsung sent me the Galaxy S22 so I could test these earbuds and take use of all the advantages the Buds 2 Pro have to offer. I utilized the earbuds for calls, Zoom meetings, commutes, runs, exercises, and travel during this month.

Even though the Buds2 Pro look quite identical to the original, they are 15% smaller, which increases their wearability. They are being billed as the only wireless earbuds you'll ever require, which is a bold statement given the level of market rivalry.

It feels like sandstone, which contributes to the impression of "premiumness". The Buds2 Pro is available in three colors: White, Graphite, and Bora Purple. The silicone ear tips, buds, and cases come in each color selection. Four different silicone ear tips that should fit a range of ear sizes are included with the earbuds. They are bundled up with a charging wire and an instruction book.

During a flight from Manila to Misamis Occidental, I tested the ANC, and it significantly reduced cabin noise. There was barely any noise from the aircraft's engine or other passengers, which made it simple to enjoy some music without being interrupted. They undoubtedly made my flight trip a lot easier. In addition, the Buds 2 Pro feature 24-bit audio Hi-Fi sound as opposed to the Buds Pro's 16-bit audio.

Due to its IPX7 water resistance, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro can endure being submerged completely for up to 30 minutes in water that is one meter deep. They didn't fall out of my ears as I ran with them, and I had no trouble doing so.

The battery life of these devices is rated at five hours with noise cancellation turned on and eight hours without it at moderate volume levels, and you get around three more charges from the case (it charges via USB-C and wirelessly). You may argue that five hours is quite average and that the battery life hasn't been improved, but it's challenging to reduce bud size while extending battery life.

Dynamic head tracking, 360-degree audio, and direct multi-channel compatibility are all features of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The earbuds include Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility as far as connectivity goes. I can state that it connects to devices in a flash, which is comparable to AirPods' quickness. According to Samsung, the Samsung UI 5.0 Update will include the Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) Audio.

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are the best earphones Samsung has ever made. Enhanced active noise cancellation, much better sound, and more comfy!
