Instead of fumbling for cash, you simply scan a NEPALPAY QR code with your mobile payment app, and voila! Payment done. This new system supports travelers from 10 countries, including China, Singapore, Malaysia, and even Italy, making it super convenient for a wide range of tourists.

A Milestone for Nepal’s Digital Payments

This collaboration is a significant step forward for Nepal’s digital payment landscape. Mr. Vishrut Thapa, Chairman of NCHL, expressed his excitement about this achievement, highlighting how quickly this partnership came to fruition. It’s all part of Nepal Rastra Bank’s strategic plan to integrate global payment systems, making it easier for tourists to enjoy their stay.

Mr. Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan, CEO of NCHL, shared his enthusiasm about showcasing Nepal’s QR payment system on a global stage.
