#TechPH - When Tech Starts Feeling Like Home: My First Look at ASUS’ 2026 Desktop Lineup

I don’t know about you, but every once in a while I catch myself daydreaming about the kind of workspace that just feels right—where everything looks clean, works smoothly, and quietly keeps up with whatever chaos the day brings. That’s exactly the vibe I got when I walked through ASUS’ newly announced 2026 lineup of all‑in‑one PCs and desktops here in the Philippines.

What struck me wasn’t just the power (though there’s plenty of that). It was how each device felt like it had a personality—something for the minimalist creator, the quietly productive professional, the gamer who lives for late‑night victories, and the dreamer who wants a showpiece tower glowing like a sci‑fi artifact.

The first one that pulled me in was the ASUS V600 All-in-One—a sleek, no-nonsense machine that looks like it was designed for people who love beautiful things but refuse to fuss with cable spaghetti. It runs on the AMD Ryzen AI 5 330, which basically means you’re getting a ready-for-AI, Copilot+ friendly setup without needing a chunky tower.

The screen? A roomy 23.8-inch FHD display that feels perfect for bouncing between tasks—or streaming your comfort show on the side. The pop-up IR camera and adaptive features felt like thoughtful touches, the kind you only appreciate once they quietly make your day easier. And if you're thinking of using it as a second display for a laptop or even your phone, it’s got HDMI‑in for that too. A tiny detail, but honestly a life-saver.

Then there’s the ASUS V500 Mini Tower, which feels like a little surprise each time you look at it. It has this dark wood finish that makes it look more like a piece of home dĂ©cor than a desktop tower. But inside? It’s running strong on Intel Core processors—up to a Core 7 240H—while humming softly at noise levels quieter than some air purifiers.

What I love about it is the duality: a computer that can handle the madness of multitasking but still sit politely in the corner like it’s part of the furniture. If you like a tidy, peaceful workspace, this one practically whispers your name.

Of course, things take a sharp turn once you reach the ASUS TUF Gaming TM500. Suddenly we’re in “battle mode.” The TUF series has always been known for durability, but this one brings the intensity with an AMD Ryzen 7 260 and the option for an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060.

Despite its compact size, it has the kind of cooling setup you’d expect from a no‑compromise build: copper heat pipes, a hefty dissipation area, and a fan that seems ready for marathon sessions. It’s like the quiet kid who secretly aces gym class.

And then—the ROG GM700. This one doesn’t just sit on a desk. It owns the desk. Between the glowing fans, the spacious 58L chassis, and the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D paired with a Radeon RX 9070 XT, it feels like the kind of machine that makes you want to rearrange your whole room just to give it a dramatic corner.

It’s fast, it’s customizable, it cools like a champ, and it looks unreal. If you love the ritual of upgrading, tweaking, and futureproofing, this is a playground.

What ties the entire lineup together is that ASUS clearly isn’t just building machines—they’re building moods. Whether you’re aiming for elegant and effortless or powerful and unapologetically bold, there’s a personality match waiting somewhere in this year’s releases.

And as someone who spends way too much time crafting my ideal workspace (digitally and physically), that’s something I can truly appreciate.
