#ArtPH - Art Meets Hospitality: HATCH Emergence Takes Over Manila Prince Hotel This July
This July, the Manila Prince Hotel isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to experience art in its most playful and unexpected form. In celebration of Manila Bulletin’s 125th anniversary, the hotel is hosting HATCH Emergence: A Fusion of Filipino Street Art, a vibrant exhibit that transforms its window display into a striking showcase of local creativity.
Running until July 31, 2025, the exhibit is part of the annual HATCH initiative, which challenges artists to reimagine the humble acrylic egg as a canvas. The result? A collection of bold, street-inspired pieces that blend pop culture, urban storytelling, and toy-like whimsy into one-of-a-kind works of art.
This year’s lineup features a powerhouse of Filipino talent, including Jade Suayan, Trip63, Creon Chkn, Blic, Exld Manila, Distort Monsters, Gerilya (Jano and Mar Gonzales), Wesley Valenzuela, Isobel Francisco, Lianne Steffi Lim, Reen Barrera, Egg Fiasco, and Quiccs. Each artist brings their own unique flair, making the exhibit a must-see for art lovers, culture enthusiasts, and curious passersby alike.
“We are honored to provide a space where creativity can be seen, celebrated, and shared with the community,” shares Marvin Kim Tan, Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Manila Prince Hotel. “HATCH Emergence reflects our continued support for local talent and our commitment to offering cultural experiences to our guests.”
The best part? Admission is free, and the exhibit is open to both hotel guests and the general public. Whether you're staying for the night or just strolling by, this is your chance to witness Filipino street art in a whole new light.
