It has been a phenomenal year of touring for James Arthur- having completed his first sold-out European arena headline tour, a sold-out UK and Ireland arena headline tour which included playing to 40,000 fans over two nights at The O2 London, followed by select major international festival dates. Several shows featured a special surprise - a brand-new song that has had thousands of fans swamping his socials, excitedly asking when it will be released. The chorus could well be the biggest of his career: the gritty soul of James’s lead vocal simmering with heartfelt passion and determination, backed by an explosive production and radiant gospel backing vocals. James says, “This song is about knowing your worth, letting go of the things that don’t deserve your energy, and moving forward without looking back. One of my favourite lines is, ‘Don’t stop being anything but yourself,’ and I hope that means something to you too.”

‘Waste My Tears’ is James’s first new solo track since releasing his ‘PISCES’ album last year. It continued his superstar status, ensuring that all six of his studio albums have reached #3 or higher in the UK - including the chart-toppers ‘Back From The Edge’ and ‘Bittersweet Love’. His album success is matched on the Official Singles Chart with two #1 smashes and a further five Top 10 hits -  all of which contributed to being awarded a BRITs Billion award in 2023 in recognition of receiving over a billion UK streams. James has also achieved massive success with 12 Platinum certified singles in the UK with ‘Impossible’, ‘Rewrite The Stars’, ‘Naked’, ‘Safe Inside’, ‘Falling Like The Stars’, ‘Lasting Lover’, ‘Train Wreck’, ‘Can I Be Him’, ‘Empty Space’, ‘Sun Comes Up’, ‘Car’s Outside’ and ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’.
