Some nights just feel electric—and the Boomerang Awards 2025 was one of those. Imagine a room filled with the country’s brightest minds in digital marketing, all gathered to celebrate the kind of creativity that makes you want to dream bigger and push boundaries further. Held at the Sheraton Manila Hotel, this year’s event was more than just an awards show—it was a celebration of Filipino talent, collaboration, and the power of storytelling in the digital age.

The spotlight was on the winners of the Sari-Sari DYC 2025 competitions, where young innovators and storytellers proved that Filipino creativity is ready for the world stage. In the Young Lotus category, Arvin Chingcuanco and Sofia Jayme of Propel Manila earned the honor of representing the Philippines at ADFEST 2026 in Thailand. Their work, along with standout presentations from other teams, showed just how much heart and hustle goes into every campaign.

Meanwhile, Franc Mangahas and Eri Carunungan of Lennon Group took home Gold in the Young Innova category, earning a ticket to SXSW 2026 in Austin, Texas. Their excitement was palpable—winning Gold and heading to SXSW is a dream come true, and they’re eager to bring fresh global perspectives back to the local scene. Other teams from TBWA\SMP and Dentsu Creative Philippines were also recognized for their strategic ideas and creative flair, proving that the future of Filipino digital marketing is in good hands.

The trophies themselves were a creative twist—a jar filled with miniature awards from around the world, symbolizing the “sari-saring” (varied) achievements of the winners. It’s a reminder that creativity comes in all shapes and forms, and that every idea has the power to make an impact.

DMAP President Miko David summed it up perfectly: “Tonight, we’re honoring the sari-saring ideas that continue to elevate the Philippine digital industry. The work we celebrate reflects our collective drive to tell meaningful stories, powered by collaboration and innovation.”

With support from partners like Ayala Foundation, Meta, Maya, and more, the Boomerang Awards reaffirmed its role as the benchmark for digital excellence in the country. It’s clear that Filipino creatives are ready to take on the world—and the next wave of talent is already making its mark.
