#CulturePH - Marvels In Hong Kong: 25 Years and Beyond!

We can all agree that the pandemic provided a significant challenge to all economic sectors, including international travel, and that this has changed the landscape of tourism as a whole. The Hong Kong Tourism Board has continued to run marketing campaigns in the Philippines despite the border restriction because it is essential for them to maintain Hong Kong's presence and visibility to keep Hong Kong at the top of Filipino travelers' minds.

The Hong Kong Tourism Board is thrilled to work with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office to display various Hong Kong neighborhoods in this "Marvels in Hong Kong" exhibition to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong.

The introduction of the Old Town Central and Sham Shui Po districts a few years ago marked the beginning of neighborhood promotions. Old Town Central is well renowned for its vibrant and creative street art, contemporary cafes, and retail stores promoting locally produced products that highlight the difference between Hong Kong's old and new sides.

While Sham Shui Po is one of Hong Kong's oldest districts and a neighborhood known for its authenticity. In addition to the great local cuisine, which includes Michelin-recommended street food, it is well known for its treasure hunting, which frequently unearths undiscovered hidden gems.

The West Kowloon Cultural District, one of the largest cultural precincts in the world, is included in the neighborhood campaign for the West Kowloon area that we introduced last year. The Hong Kong Palace Museum, M+, West Kowloon Promenade, and Art Park are some of the area's most recent infrastructure additions, further solidifying Hong Kong's position as Asia's cultural centre.

The "0+3" travel measures that were just announced mark another important milestone for Hong Kong. Visitors to Hong Kong are currently only obliged to complete the 3-day medical surveillance period and no longer have to undergo hotel quarantine upon arrival.

To highlight the HKSAR's outstanding accomplishments over the past 25 years, a variety of activities, including roaming exhibitions, cultural performances, and media meetings, are included in the Marvels in Hong Kong series.
