On October 20, SM officially welcomed in the holiday season with an extraordinary event at Mega & Bright: Christmas in Space 2022 at the SM Megamall.
The lighting of the mall's massive Christmas tree decorated with stars and lights marked the beginning of SM's nationwide Happy Christmas promotion. Additionally, from October 20 until December, SM customers can view SM Megamall's Mega Space Odyssey to get a glimpse of the cosmos. People can travel to space and view it immersively thanks to the 3D LED tunnel.

For its Vote to Tote project as part of the 100 Days campaign this year, SM collaborated with the Quezon City LGU, Spark PH, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), the Association of Foot and Mouth Artists of the Philippines, and bag designer Zarah Juan.
