#CulturePH - Sisterhood in Action: How HAVAS Ortega is Championing Women Beyond Women’s Month
Empowerment doesn’t end when March does—and at HAVAS Ortega, that belief is more than just a statement. It’s a movement.
This year, the agency launched HAVASister, a heartfelt initiative designed to uplift, educate, and connect women within and beyond the workplace. More than a Women’s Month campaign, HAVASister is a year-round commitment to creating inclusive spaces where women feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
The program brought together employees, partners, and thought leaders for a series of powerful sessions that sparked real conversations and meaningful change. It also encouraged male colleagues to step up as allies—“brothers” in the movement—fostering a culture of shared responsibility and solidarity.
Here’s a look at the inspiring lineup of sessions that made HAVASister more than just a program—it became a platform for progress:
- Breaking Glass Ceilings – Rosario Cajucom-Bradbury’s journey from telephone operator to CEO reminded everyone that resilience, mentorship, and grit can shatter even the toughest barriers.
- Queens of Console – In partnership with Ampverse, this session spotlighted women in gaming, proving that the digital arena is just as much a space for female power and play.
- Empowered Wellness – Co-hosted with Lockton, this talk tackled PCOS and reproductive health, giving women the tools and knowledge to advocate for their well-being.
- Understanding Neurodiversity in Women – With Graymatters, the conversation turned to how neurodiverse conditions uniquely affect women, pushing for more inclusive and informed workplace practices.
- Vaccines for Every Life Stage – Partnering with Kindred, this session emphasized the importance of HPV vaccination and preventive care for all genders and ages.
“We launched HAVASister to create a space where women could feel empowered, heard, and supported,” shared Nina Estenzo, Business Director at HAVAS Ortega. “The conversations we’ve started and the connections we’ve made are just the beginning. Our commitment to inclusion and empowerment is here to stay.”
HAVASister is more than a campaign—it’s a culture shift. And it’s proof that when women are empowered, everyone rises.
