#FitnessPH - Lace Up, Manila: The Final Leg of the EastWest Dream Run Is Almost Here

There’s something about running that brings people together—whether it’s chasing a personal best, bonding with your dog, or simply soaking in the energy of a crowd that shares your vibe. That’s exactly what the EastWest Dream Run is all about. And now, it’s Manila’s turn to feel the rush.

Set for June 15, 2025, at Filinvest City, Alabang, the final leg of this three-city series is more than just a race—it’s a celebration. It marks EastWest’s 30th anniversary and the Filinvest Group’s 70th year, wrapping up a journey that’s already brought together over 6,000 runners in Davao and Cebu.

A Run for Every Kind of Runner

Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or just looking for a fun way to move, there’s a category for you:

  • 1K Dog Run – for fur parents and their four-legged besties
  • 2K Kids Run – perfect for little legs and family bonding
  • 5K & 10K – for casual joggers or those chasing a new PR
  • 30K Challenge – a tribute to EastWest’s 30 years of milestones

Every participant gets a premium race kit with a limited-edition singlet, race bib, and loot bag. Finishers walk away with a dreamcatcher-inspired medal, and 30K runners score an exclusive finisher’s shirt.

More Than Just a Race

The Dream Run Village is where the fun continues—think music, food stalls, wellness booths, and interactive experiences for runners and supporters alike. And because running with purpose feels even better, part of the proceeds will support EastWest’s community initiatives.

A Community in Motion

At the media launch in Makati, the EastWest Milers—the bank’s official running club—set the tone with warm-up drills and infectious energy. It’s this spirit of togetherness that makes the Dream Run feel so personal.

“In Davao and Cebu, we saw people running their first kilometer and others completing all 30,” shared Martin Reyes, EastWest’s Head of Marketing. “Each one showed up with a reason, and that shared sense of purpose is what gives the series its meaning.”

Running coach and event partner Rio dela Cruz echoed the sentiment: “There’s a genuine sense of heart behind the Dream Run. It’s inclusive, thoughtful, and deeply personal for many. I believe the Manila leg will bring out something truly special.”
