#CulturePH - Streetball Fever Hits the Philippines Again: Red Bull Half Court 2025 Is Here
Basketball fans, mark your calendars—Red Bull Half Court is making its electrifying return to the Philippines, and it’s bringing the heat like never before. This isn’t your typical hoops tournament. It’s fast, fierce, and full of streetball swagger, giving local talent a shot at global glory.
This year’s tournament promises high-octane action as teams battle it out in the ultimate 3-on-3 format. With the World Final set in the UAE this November, the stakes are sky-high. The Philippines will host regional qualifiers in Davao (August 30–31), Cebu (September 13–14), and Manila (September 27–28), culminating in the National Final on October 18 in Manila.
What makes Red Bull Half Court stand out? For starters, it’s played on half a court, with games lasting just 10 minutes or until a team hits 21 points. It’s all about speed, strategy, and serious skill. And here’s the twist—teams that rack up the most points across all games earn the “Own the Court” bonus, giving them a leg up in the competition. Special 3-point zones behind the arc add even more spice to the game.
NBA shooting coach Chris “Lethal Shooter” Matthews is hyped for this season, saying, “Year after year, Red Bull Half Court continues to push the game forward. Seeing the sport grow in new countries and watching these athletes bring their best is truly special.”
Want in? Assemble your crew of 3 to 4 players (aged 18+), with at least three holding valid Philippine passports. To register, just grab four cans of Red Bull from any 7-Eleven and upload your receipt via the official website. Registered teams score exclusive Red Bull Half Court jerseys—light and dark sets to keep you game-ready.
Whether you're balling in the streets or cheering from the sidelines, this is one event you won’t want to miss. For updates and more info, check out Red Bull’s website and follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
