#CulturePH - ALPAS Consultancy Makes a Powerful Debut at the Philippine Quill Awards
There’s something inspiring about a first-time contender making waves — and that’s exactly what ALPAS Consultancy did at the 21st Philippine Quill Awards. Held at The Manila Hotel, the event celebrated excellence in business communication, and ALPAS walked away with not just one, but five awards, including a coveted Top Division Award and an Excellence Award.
For a firm making its debut, this is more than just a win — it’s a statement.
At the heart of ALPAS’ recognition was its CSR initiative, “The Struggle Is Real: Crisis Communications Training.” Designed to combat misinformation and disinformation, the program empowered public servants and youth leaders with the skills to navigate today’s complex information landscape. It earned top honors in the Communication Training and Education division, proving that meaningful impact and strategic storytelling go hand in hand.
But ALPAS didn’t stop there.
Their TALAKAYAN Series, which aimed to simplify political discourse ahead of the 2025 midterm elections, received a Merit Award for Corporate Writing. By making political narratives more accessible, the campaign helped bridge the gap between government messaging and public understanding — a timely and necessary effort in today’s climate.
In the health space, ALPAS was recognized for its work on the Health Connect Forum for Sanofi Vaccines Philippines. This initiative tackled vaccine misinformation and promoted immunization awareness, earning a Merit Award in the Audio/Visual category.
And for parents navigating COVID-19 concerns, ALPAS’ “Batang Bakunado, Todong Protektado!” campaign delivered clear, accurate information about pediatric vaccination. This digital-led effort, in partnership with DOH, USAID, and Johns Hopkins Center for Communications Programs, earned a Merit Award for Social Media Programs.
“These awards are a recognition of the outcomes we have achieved that move society and the entire nation forward,” said ALPAS Co-founder and CEO Marzie Marzan. “This is just the beginning.”
Co-founder and CSO Atty. Carlo Escalada added, “Our philosophy has always been to create work that uplifts our fellow Filipinos. Our wins validate this approach and show the strength of a team dedicated to building the Philippines towards progress.”
Fresh off their wins at the Golden Standard Awards in Singapore, ALPAS is proving that strategic communication can be a powerful tool for change — and they’re just getting started.
