#FinancePH - Team EastWest Scores Double Win at the 2025 IABC Quill Awards

There’s something truly inspiring about seeing hard work and creativity recognized on a big stage. Team EastWest is celebrating a double victory at the 2025 IABC Philippines Quill Awards, with East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) and EastWest Ageas Insurance (EWA) each taking home honors for their standout communication campaigns.

EastWest Unibank’s 30th Anniversary campaign, “Further for You,” was all about celebrating three decades of banking with ease, trust, and innovation. The campaign brought together customer-focused innovations, exclusive events, and digital rollouts like the EasyWay App. With ambassadors Donny Pangilinan and Carlos Yulo, and a yin-yang-inspired anniversary logo, the campaign blended Eastern values of customer care with Western innovation—making banking more personal and meaningful for everyone.

On the insurance side, EastWest Ageas Insurance wowed judges with “LOVE PURPLE: Uniting Employees with One Goal, One Color, One Purpose.” This internal campaign brought the brand refresh, “What’s Your PURPLE?” to life, rallying employees (called Stewards) around a shared identity. From vibrant merchandise to music festivals, the campaign united the team in serving customers with passion and authenticity.

Norman Martin C. Reyes, EastWest Head of Marketing, summed it up: “At its core, this double win is about people; customers who inspire us, and employees who live our purpose. Both wins show that customer experience starts with engaged people who believe in the brand.”

The IABC Quill Awards are a mark of distinction in the world of professional communication, with thousands of entries each year and only a select few recognized for excellence. EastWest’s double win is a testament to their fusion of warm, customer-first service with innovation and technology.
